Mr. Alhaji Bakarr Kanu: Public Information Officer

Mr. Alhaji Bakarr Kanu is a versatile Sierra Leonean Academia and Communications practitioner with over ten years of experience. Mr. Alhaji Bakarr Kanu has worked with various Institutions in Sierra Leone as a Project Coordinator, HR Personnel, Public Relations Officer etc.

Prior to his appointment as Public Information Officer of RAIC in 2015, Mr. Kanu served as a procurement Officer for GOAL Ireland and Human Resource Officer for the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) from 2012-2015 respectively.

Mr. Kanu was born in Port Loko, Attended the Schlenker Secondary School before graduating with a Bachelor Degree from Njala University in 2012.

Mr. Kanu is presently serving as the Public Information Officer of the Right to Access Information Commission.
