Statement Delivered By The RAIC Chairman Information Commissioner, Dr. Ibrahim Seaga Shaw on the Data Protection Policy / Law at stakeholders meeting held at the National Civil Registration Authority on 8th October 2019
Stakeholders in the Information, Communications and records Management sector on Tuesday converged at the Bintumani Hotel, Aberdeen in Freetown to validate regulations of the Right to Access Information Act of 2013.
The country Director of The Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) has pledged his institution’s continued support to the Right to Access Information Commission (RAIC).
Right to Access information is not only an end in itself, but a means to many ends, according to Dr Ibrahim Seaga Shaw, Chairman and Information Commissioner of the Right to Access Information Commission in Sierra Leone.
The Right to Access Information Commission RAIC has certified four Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for submitting their Proactive Disclosure Publication Schemes to RAIC before the 1st March deadline.
